Best Year Of Windstar?
Does anyone know what year of Windstar has the least problems. (I know that some of you are laughing, but I'm serious).
 Just curious if FORD made a Windstar without so many problems. While on the subject, anyone know which minivan has the best maintenance rating? Thanks.

IMHO, 2001-2003. The newer the better. FMC started using the 'improved' AX4N transaxle in 2001 which supposedly is less problematic. Plus FMC supposedly has the PCV 'updates' (vlv cover) on the 2001+ run. Try to stick with a more basic LX, with no rear HVAC and less bells & whistles to break. They are the most minivan for the dollar.
