what mods should i do . just got 99civic

i just purchased a used 99 civic with 6o kmiles
it was lowered already and has headers.
i want to know some beginning mods and dont want to get anything im going to regret or doesnt really work. i want some cheap mods,, i was loooking at intakes on ebay but what are some other things i can do that are cheap and gain hp and maybe mpg. give me it all

should i do intake or high flow drop in?

short throw shifter if its a stick, you could also do some strut bars front and back maybe, lower tie bars. what model is it? is it vtec?

dont mod till u have roughtly 3k to blow on this baby, then get a good turbo and do some engine work so it can handle 12-15 psi. u wont regret it

If your wanting something right away, test pipe and catback, and a short shifter. I won a skunk2 short shifter and weighted knob off of www.clubcivic.com and I enjoy it alot, and soon my test pipe and catback will be on, i got my headers for free from my cousin when he did his b16 swap. Also, I would go for a short ram intake if I were you, less chance of messing your engine up by hydrolocking, but maybe thats just me. Other than that, dont rice it out, and save for a swap.

Get a front lip, 17s and lower it.
