Weatherstripping
I've got a '98 LS 2-door model and was wondering if anyone knew where to get replacement weatherstripping. I need the part that runs vertical between the driver/passenger door and the side window behind them.
It looks like it is weatherstripping that is a part of the side window itself (not the window in the door). Any ideas? If you're not sure which part I'm talking about, I can provide a picture. Thanks. |

If you live near a dealer that sells automotive paint and supplies he should have it or be able to get it, next would be a body shop...last but not least GM dealer

Re: Weatherstripping
I thought perhaps it could be bought online, but most of the places that sell weatherstripping online don't sell that part.
Thanks for the info. |

I think I might have found what you were looking for, my Blazer is a 4 door so I'm not real sure which piece you need, if this isn't it you may be able to find it here. If I did this post right you can just click add to cart and it will take you right to it.
If not go to: http://www.buy-oem-parts.com/storefront.htm Under body parts catalog select the year and make then click search then select the model then click the links in this order Quarter Panel Glass Qtr glass Weatherstrip Weatherstrip Back - 2 door 95-05 $14.21 $11.08

blazee, your link is very helpful. Thanks. I appreciate it.
I'm just a bit confused. The part that I think I need is labeled #1, but at the cost of $208 I can't see how. None of the images show it, but there is an extension piece that runs horizontal that I think is part of #1. Mine is torn and missing in some sections. It covers the gap between the door and the back window. I think it is a source of some loud wind noise. Anyway, thanks for the link, it does help me. |
