560 Engine - Vacuum System ???

Hi,

My 560SEC engine is having some issues...... The technician checking the fuel injection system has done a compression test on all the cylinders and says that although one or two are a little lower than they should be, they are all basically ok.

He is having trouble checking the timing etc, because he feels that someone has been playing around with the vacuum system on the motor. He had to buy a small part for the distributor to start checking things out but he still cannot do the job properly until he sorts out the vacuum system. He has been trying to get a vacuum diagram for the car but none of his contacts have one for the 560 engine and Mercedes Benz will not give him one. They just say "bring it in to us'.

Any ideas? Cheers!
