1987 Sable Strut Installation

My sister bought a new car and gave us her 1987 Mercury Sable with 60,000 miles on it. It is in very good condition but needs new struts installed. Finding out the price to install new struts I have decided to install them myself. I bought a Haynes manual on the car but would appreciate information about installing new struts. Thanks Norman
