120,000 miles

What all needs to be done to the 95 GS-T at 120,000 miles other than the timing belt? Coming up on it real soon and need to save the money for it. Thanks

Re: 120,000 miles

Timing belt, Water pump, Spark plugs, maybe a new turbo, fuel filter/pump. Maybe more, it depends on how u drive your car.

Re: 120,000 miles

Fuel pump is fine until you start poping fuses but the fuel filter on the other hand would probably be good to change. I would change the timing belt, all the timing acc. like pullies and the tensioner. Water pump is also a good thing to replace. Depending on how new the spark plug wires and plugs are I might replace them too.

Another thing you might want to check/replace is your tranny fluid, maybe even get a tranny flush!

Dont replace the turbo unless it gives you a reason to. Check the shaft play and if its minimal leave it alone. No need to mess with something that isnt giving you trouble!

Re: 120,000 miles

Take the intake pipe off your turbo and reach in, grab the compressor wheel and wiggle it. There should be barely any side to side movement and there should be no in and out movement!

Re: 120,000 miles

At 120 I would replace ALL fluids. Well, nevermind, you have a GST You AWD guys change all fluids, tcase, and rear end. Everyone neglects the rear end. tbelt, waterpump, and fuel filter are all 60k items as someone mentioned. 120k is going to be more involved with some chassis lube and other fun items. If you really want to get into it... Most manuals, including the cars onwners manuals, should provide a list.
