Is there anybody willing to sell a rear windshield for a 2003 chevy silverado HD2500 that I can get via mail to Iraq? I'm a civilian contractor working for the US military, driving around out here in the desert. Fortunately, it's cooler (40+ degrees) and moister, which keps the dust down. But come the warmer months, it gets to 130+ degrees. I need a rear windshield, preferably plexiglass. Any ideas would be helpful. I don't need armored or bulletproof, though helpful. What good would it do if the window survives and the truck's destroyed. Heck, I almost got nailed saturday 1800 local time when a rocket landed 50 yds away.

Why not just weld some plate over it. You guys must have some steel or something over there??? Then just flog it upon your return...

have your boss order some plxi and glue. then glue the plxi to the truck. thay should have local supplyers.

I think instead of a windshield you should have the military issue you a sherman tank or better yet drop the big one on them and make it beach front property ...Hell you already have all the sand you need .....Keep your head down and eyes open out there ....i have relatives fighting over there and and thats no place for a civilian let alone a soldier ...good luck ....
