My rear wiper is acting funny. When I turn it on it only wipes once then stops. I have to manualy push it down to get it to reset. I have check the 10a fuse but it looks fine. Anybody had a similar thing happen and if so what did you do?

Thanks

Mine's doing the same thing.

Do a search on this forum and there are several posts on this problem. I remember something like a wiper controller located under the dash.

Re: Need help with rear wiper

I would check the wiper motor or the wiper assembly, observe it. Maybe it just need cleaning on the electrical points. They sell a spray cleaner for electrical parts at Autozone. I hope this helps....I doubt its the fuse, otherwise it wont turn on at all...

its a bad chip on the alarm control board. The chip costs a couple of bucks. The board (new from isuzu) costs about 200. Every week I see at least one more person posting this problem here.
