Fueling Problems
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali. It has 20000 miles on it. For the last five months I have had problems fueling it - the backpressure cutoff switch on the pump keeps tripping, even though the tank is not filled. This happens no matter where I buy gas. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Fueling Problems
Too much vapor lock trapped somewhere in your truck's fuel system? I dunno...
Does it happen even if you go to a gas station that has condom-less fuel pump nozzles? |

I was reading somewhere on a Porsche site that the tank vents have a solenoid switch that opens and closes the vent - I am not sure why it needs to closed at times. But if it is closed during fueling you get the same problem with a Porsche. Does anyone know if the Yukon has a similar switch on the tank vents? |
