dx vs. si
I am looking to get another crx......what's better for performance in the long run, the dx which is lighter or the si which is better built, i know the engine is better in the si but not if a swap is done.....if someone could give me a compariosn that would be nice......which model gets better performance after a swap?......How much better is the si to a dx stock?......

with the 90-91 Si you get the rear disk breaks and rear sway bar.

Re: dx vs. si
i like the si better( sunroof etc). but for performance the best would be a dx and transfer all the parts from an si to upgrade your dx. so in the end it woud be a lighter car.imo

Re: dx vs. si
it's up to you....
if you want good handling/braking, without doing any mods, get a 90-91 Si. But if weight is your concern, then get an 88 dx or HF. 88 is the lightest year even the dx is 18xx lbs. Then just swap rear discs and upgrade the suspension.
