2002 4HI Stopped Working
This is just great. We are in mountain snow country and the 4HI stopped working in our 2002 Blazer. When the button is pushed, no light and the 2WD light stays on. The 4LO engages but not the 4HI. Anything quick to look at before we take it to the shop and spend tons of money? Can't get it up huge incline on the road to home to work on.
It has 42,000 miles on it and naturally still in the warranty as far as year but not mileage as you see. In our 97 we had to replace the Servo when the 4 wheel stopped working.

When you go to 4LO, does the front axle engage? If it does, the servo works.
It could be a bad switch, module or encoder motor. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes? It might help.
