Shelby Cobra (progress)

This is the Revell 1/24 kit.
I plan on doing this car (a street version) in black with no stripes, I will use the stock rims but they will be black with chrome knock offs.

so far I started on the interior going for an (aluminum and black look), I detailed the dash a bit. and started on the seats and stuff. the belts are made from vinyl tape with photoetched hardware. and I used BMF on the shifter trim ring

BTW the decals in this kit are awesome, printed by Cartograf, although I wont use them on this car.

Very clean, the dash and seatbelts are great. Never seen catches like those on the belts before.

Holy crap! You're work is just immaculate. Freakin' immaculate! I can't beleive how clean your dash is, are those the decals from the kit? Is this the current Revell kit of this car? It's been taunting me at my LHS.

Hey thanks guys!

Yeah this is the current kit, I think its a re-issue of an older kit, cause there is a lot of mold lines and stuff to clean up lol.
and yeah those gauge decals come in the kit!, its a cartograf decal sheet!!

Re: Shelby Cobra (progress)

Wow!! A Cobra kit.
First. Your interior is amazing!!

And, i hope this kit get to Brasil. Is hard to find one, i've only seen one kit, and was a cobra but with large wheels and a engine...completely out of scale...more a toy car!!

Well. Keep us Update!

Re: Shelby Cobra (progress)

Great! Another Cobra kit.

Maybe this project will make me continue my Fujimi Shelby Cobra. After almost a year the body is still waiting to be painted...
