change engine oil light
I recently had my oil changed at Wal-Mart b/c I havn't had the time, getting ready to be deployed to Cuba, but my message board still says change oil soon, or somthing like that. Just wondering do I have to get it erased by a decoder??? Pretty sure I do but I just wanted to ask.

Re: change engine oil light
That is it , but it needs to go all the way to the floor , not only half way or whatever

Re: change engine oil light
Actually it is not a trick, that is how you reset it. It is even in the owners manual.

The change oil message will flash for 5 seconds after you start the truck indicating it has been reset.
