Starting Issues

Ok, so last night I'm at this party, and I'm parked in my friend's driveway. My car is blocking someone else in the driveway, so he asks me to move it, I goto start it and nothing happens. Key turns, I hear a click, and nothing. No cranking. THe radio and lights still work so I know the battery is still good. I put it in neutral and roll my car outta the way... so I figure it's the starter or something, whatever... I have it towed to a mechanic. Today, the guy calls me and tells me the starter seems fine, but sez something about nothing getting any power. He thinks something is wrong with the alarm system and that's why the car won't start, and he'll call me back when he figures it out.

has anyone else had this issue? or know how to fix it?!?

I'm considering having it towed to the infinit dealership so they can take care of it, but I wanna avoid having to pay to get it towed that far if possible?

Guess what, I feel your pain 'cause i'm having the same damn problem. My car is still parked out on the street outside my apartment! I have the same symptoms you have; radio, lights, windows, etc. work but the car won't start. I think its the starter but I haven't even got it towed to a mechanic yet, so can you let me know when you find out the problem with your car.

Oh, sorry, didn't reply to this before... I got the problem fixed. Dumb mechanic.. it was the starter.

Same here guys, it was the starter for me. When my car died for the first time on me I took it in to the STEALERSHIP and they said everything was fine, 2 months later my car didn't start. Took it to another mechanic, replaced the starter and geez my car is running.
