Engine (drone) noise @ idle
99 Explorer 4.0 ohv recently started making a droning noise at idle only when the eng. is hot. I have heard that this is common with composite intakes. If not please advise. It will do it with the air box disconnected also and have been unable to find a intake leak as of yet but am not ruling that possibility out.
