Memory Seats & Keyless Entry

Just got an 05 with memory seats. The sales guy said that when I unlocked the pickup with my keyfob the seat would automatically move to my position. Then when my wife unlocked the pickup with her's it would move to her position. Mine doesn't do this. I have to push the button on the door to get the seat to move to my position.

Is there some sort of configuration that I need to do to get this to work.

Thanks,
Paul

Greetings Paul,

Yes. The Driver's Information Center (DIC) requires that you set each driver for seats and mirrors (if you have backup mirror option etc..

Note: EACH driver must be set separately. Also goes for how locks work with startup, acknowledgements of locking and opening, etc. etc..
