Question Laquer over decals?

Im just about to finish my Tamiya Scooby WRC '99 and wondered if putting a clear laquer over decals would be ok?

Not done this before (only built one model! ) and wanted to make sure it won't ruin it!

Thanks!

Mole

:bandit: lacquer over decals is fine in light mist coats for the first couple of coats BUT lacquer is not compatible with all paints OR all bare plastic !!

DONT BOTHER
Just give it a good polish with some Tamiya wax. I've heard to many bad stories about clear coats and how they melt decals.
Yet to hear of a perfect way to do it.
