1982 truck ignition fuse blows

i have a 1982 CK 1500 truck with a 350 motor and everytime i start then let it idle it blows the ignition fuse. this happens when i shut the truck off too, could this be a short circuit somewhere and where should i start looking? please help i need this truck!
