Hello all,
I have had a ton of front end problems with my 96 contour!! Wheel bearings, tie rod ends, ball joints. No one I talk to can explain why, but the wheel bearings have been replaced 3 times now. Is this just a 1996 issue or could there be other problems. I am getting tired of working on this thing!

90K miles on my 96 and have never replaced the wheel bearings. Is your camber in spec?

Re: Front end issues!
Someone I know keep replacing their wheel bearings because it keeps failing. It turned out that the inside bearing part was bad and needs replacement as well. No wonder why they have to keep replacing the outside bearing.
When was the last time you have a front-end or 4 wheel alignment? Last edited by Slade901; 01-14-2005 at 02:34 PM. |
