Eclipse GL?????
Guys, is there a shuch thing as an eclipse GL?
I have heard of the RS , GS, GSX, GS-T, GT and Spyder, but wtf is a GL?

As far as I know the only cars that Mitsubishi makes that they label a "GL" are overseas models of the Mirage and the Lancer. No eclipses are labeled 'GL' hopefully that helps.

yup, thanx guys, some sucka got loud with me saying I didnt know crap and betting me his friend had a GL. now he has to pay up a full tank of gas.

the 1g's 90-94 had a DL which was 2.0 NT FWD but ive never heard of a GL.

nope, the 1.8l is the DL, the 2.0l is the ESI. I have a ESI, guy at school has a 1.8l its a DL.

you guys are talking about two different cars. With the eclipse, the 1.8l model is "base". It's DL in the Talon.

I believe it was a GSR-4 Eclipse.

I still have yet to hear of the GL.

Edit.. I guess there was a "VW Golf II GL Eclipse" maybe that is where it is from.
