240 Fuse Box
I have a 91 240 and I routinely have the common corrosion problems in the fuse box. Has anyone ever replaced this European style fuse box with something more robust (spade or even glass fuses)?

This is a common problem, the 2 solutions that are commonly used are a good quality contact cleaner, or use the same type of fuse but they can be purchased in a stainless steel version rather than the copper OEM type

Re: 240 Fuse Box
Thanks. Any suggestions on where to find the stainless steel type fuses? Checked Autzone, etc...no luck.
PS - nice 740! |

Re: 240 Fuse Box
Thanks for the info. Checked with FCP Groton and they do not carry them. Found a few other leads; will post back if I find a source.
