Re: I have to much play in the steeering wheel
An alignment done properly should recognize any problems with the front end, ball joints included. THe tie rods would have adjusted the toe-in, toe-out, the ball joints affect the caster/camber. You could have a worn steering gear in the steering box, also check all te linkage for loose connections. To test your ball joints, jack up that tire just enough to place a jack handle unsr the tire and lift up on the tire, there should not be any play. It helps to have another person looking at the joints while your lifting the tire.

thanks, I checked the ball joint, and they feel tight and the gear box is new and the dealer said he adjusted it but I don,t know if they did it correctly.

Re: I have to much play in the steeering wheel
also check your wheel hub assemblies and all grease points. if you have a front slip yoke, it will vibrate and sound loose if it's not greased properly.
