Boost Controller And Fuel Injector Question
Alright over the weekend, my brother inlaw made arangements to buy a profecB Greddy boost controller from a shop, We asked the guy how much would a boost gauge cost he responded you won't need one because the boost controller would read it out for you?? Is this true, another question........ he said he had 550cc fuel injectors on his honda and asked if we wanted to buy them he said it would fit straight in my brother inlaws GST because and I quote "honda and Mitsubishis have the same fuel injectors" is this true or is this BS?? I don't want my bro to get ripped off

Re: Boost Controller And Fuel Injector Question
The profec B with the knobs doesnt read boost, neither does the type 2 or whateverthe hell it is. The Spec 2 might. Either way, do like Joe said and get a normal guage. I personally avoid the ones that also read vacuum.
Hondas can use DSM injectors, they are the same physical size as far as I know. But some (or maybe all, wish I knew for sure) hondas require a resistor pack, or lack of one, to make them work. Its been so many years since I dealt with this issue, I honestly can't remember the details. Either way, I wouldnt bother unless its a really good deal. RC 550s can be found for 200 all the time (~290 new IIRC).
