question about a race thats comeing up....
whats up people i have a quick question.... im about to race a friend with a ford focus ( 4 door..) its stock... he like stree raceing and stuff and i love stree raceing so i was like hey why don't we do a run sometimes and hes like ok
well i was asking waht he got in his car and stuff... and he said he has a z- tech or something... so the quesion is what the fuck is a z tech.... i know what a v tech is but i never head of z tech....

never heard of it. I have only heard of a gtech, and it's just a device used to measure things like hp, quarter mile time/speed, etc. Could that be what he was talking about?

zetec is the name of the motor, its not like vtec.

oh ok so its just a type of moter... gotcha thx man....
well another quesion who do you think will win...?? ( i have a felling its going to be me... but he been talking about his car and im starting to think his migh not do so well at take off but win at the end...) i think its ether 94 or 96 ford focus... a 4 door sadan.... no mods which is an auto.... mine is a 89 mr2 na that is a manual... and im pretty good at take offs when i race... only burned out once..... i pretty much have a genaral idea of where my power band is... 4000-6500 rpms..... (is that righ mr2 drivers??)

umm, are you sure its a Focus and not a Contour?? Focus is from like 98 up.

yeah you should be able to walk him, his cars in the mid-high 16 range.. prolly low 17s more like it.

i think it'll be closer than you guys think. The focus has 25 more hp and doesn't weigh that much more.
