1974 Chevy Truck
I have a 1974 K20 4x4 with a starting problem. It starts fine when cold but after warming up will not start again after sitting for only a few minutes. I have changed the starter, battery, solenoid (I have a winch battery...the solenoid separates the two batteries) and it still won't start when hot. I have no idea where to turn from here. Is there something else that affects the starting process that I am unaware of? Please e-mail me @ [email protected] if you have a clue I am not privy to. Thanks!

Re: 1974 Chevy Truck
Start with the basics, make sure all your cables and connections are good at both the batteries and the starter. Will it start if you boost it? Does the truck have headers? They may be heating up the starter too much.
