If I put the key in and try to start the car right away I get nothing. All the dash and instrament lights work, but when I try to start the car I get nothing. If I turn the ignition to the on position and wait 15 seconds the car will turn over and start with no problems. Been doing this for a few weeks. Any answers?

Could be the fuel pump. But I would change your fuel filter first. Sounds like your not getting gas to the hood quick enough.

It doesn't even crank over what does the fuel pump have to do with it? Like I said everthing works but nothings happens, but if I wait 10 to 15 seconds it cranks over and starts and runs fine. Once the engine is warm there is no problems.

If it is that big a deal, replace your ignition switch and key [I'm assuming you have an anti-theft chip built into your key...] Good luck, B=OGC |

Re: Starting problem 94 Lesabre
You could check to see if something is loose at the starter,it almost sounds like a cold connection because when it gets warm there is not a problem. Its also acting as if the transmission selector was in drive, (just a thought) Good Luck. I forgot to mention the double wire molded battery cable (positive)for looseness, this is a famous problem.
