body lift
I want to do a body lift on my 2001 Z71. Need some input on what you think is the best brand to go with. Also, is there a site that illustrates the process of installing one?

Re: body lift
http://www.tsliftkits.com/
Not sure if it helps, I just happen to run across the site, everything seems too expensive for me, but maybe that's just because I'm cheap!

Re: body lift
Summit Racing sells some body lifts, I can't remember which brands.
I'd personally go with a suspension lift, although more expensive, look MUCH better. But thats just my opinion.

Re: body lift
I was concidering a body lift but on top of not always looking the best, need more than just the spacer kit to do it right, i was told by a mechanic that he has heard of body spacers putting too much strain on the underside of trucks and as a result the floor starts to weaken and eventually will break. that sounds a lil far out but i guess it could be true, i am still considering buying a body lift kit along with the bumper relocation kit; but i think i'll make my own gap guards instead of paying for them. Suspension lift is hands down the way to go for better performance and looks but a body lift is a cheap alternative. just remember, you get what you pay for.
