Muffler idea

What do u guys think about buying some dynomax ultaflow mufflers and having the welded in place of my mufflers?? Alot cheap then and cat back and not as pretty but my tips are still pretty shiny. i could always buy some 3 inch tip also but what to u guys think. if u think i should get other mufflers let me know just saying this one bc they have them in stock at advanced auto. 80 dollers a peice i think and could have that saved in about a month.

Re: Muffler idea

it all depends on the sound n power you want dude. But remember cheap isnt exactly always great, you get what you pay for. those dynomax are for jap cars n light trucks, my buddy has them on his civic and it sounds like absolute shit. not even the coffe can lawnmower shit, just absolute shit. so

Re: Muffler idea

ya dude regarding the flow rate on those exhaust, look at the power added by flows n look at the power added by dynomax, you cant just have straight pipes, they will actually rob you of some power. Back pressure will help create torque and give the growl/ roarind exhaust you want.
