Boosted CRV

I was just wondering howcome no one uses crv's like they uses civics and preludes, just because i found out that crv's weigh 100lbs less than a prelude and they are AWD, so howcome not many people boost crv's?

Re: Boosted CRV

common sense? Your gay. Why would you ask such a stupid question? If you want a "boosted" CR-V then put one together. Dumbass

Re: Boosted CRV

You sure it weighs less than a Prelude? If it is, great.
Quite a few people do have force fed (that means super or turbocharged also...) Crv engines. They're usually just not in the Crv. Many parts fit the engine, because it is a B series engine, but not many companies sell the computer tuning stuff for it. Makes us have to think harder. Center of gravity and the drivetrain could use some work too. Most people though, just think that modifying the Crv is weird and pointless, but the look on their face as they can't manage to pass you is well worth it.

the 2.0 b20 motor has an extra two tenths of a liter displacement over the ls. honda made the extra displacement possible by manuafacturing the cylinder sleeves at 84mm instead of 81mm like other b series engines. the designing of the b20 sleeves are more prone to crack compared to other b series sleeves. if you really wanted to boost a 2.0 b series motor, go get an ls motor and give it a 84mm bore with aftermarket sleeves.

Re: Boosted CRV

on the original question...it's been done

i have seen jr superchargers in crv's and even a few who retrofitted a turbo kit for the b18...

not many are willing to spend that kind of money on a crv but some do...
