Help with suburban
I just picked up a 99 suburban LT. I installed my Kenwood deck and only get sound from passenger side of vehicle. Stock unit did same later on. I took out a Clarion CD changer, could this be it? Is it the stock amp? Where is amp? What would be my best option for good sound without lots of cash at this point? Thanks, Pat.

Re: Help with suburban
just check all your wires. Something is probably disconnected.

Re: Help with suburban
your speakers are probabl blown since you said the some problems occurs with a different unit, you'll most likely need to replace, but to make sure you can test the speakers using a multimeter and checking the impedance. If it doesn't read or reads 0 or something they are blown, If it reads 2,4,6,8 or something your good to go with those speakers and you'll need to troubleshoot in a different are like a factory amplifier if there is one. If that's good then I would check all the wiring and make sure there isn't a short somewhere.
