how to make a 91 integra the fastest

i have a 91 integra with a built bottom end. i couldnt decide if i would rather slap a stock gsr head on their and going ls vtec, or just stick a turbo on to the stock head i have know maybe after puttin in some springs. remember im trying to make the most horse power. eny suggestions?

When you say i have a built bottom end what exactly do you have done.
I see you want a lot of horsepower, please tell us how much a lot is. Is this a street car or track car?

Hmmmm, to make the most horsepower....I'd say slap a 717 in there. Then bore it approximatly .01 over (which that engine can easily handle) and "slap" a supercharger on there and you're set to go. You'll have more hp and torque than anyother '91 Integra, which is what you said you wanted.

my bottom end is bored and i got ctr low compression pistons and rods. this is a street car. im not lookin to spend thousands for hp, but which do u think would produce more. the gsr head or a turbo. i was thinkin of doing the gsr head with a turbo. whats your opinion on that?

bored or honed? because i thought ctr pistons only come in stock size and .25 oversize. also ctr pistons in a b18 would yeild about 12:1 CR so thats kind of high for boost. in that case, i say just put the gsr head.

turbo will be more hp but more harder to do, both would be good

do think it would be good to run lsvtec with a turbo? with the low comprssion pistons and rods

well if you have a built bottom end, then build the gsr head also, then turn that boost up. fully tuned of course

theres a big myth going around about how ls vtecs break down alot and arent good turbo motors. if built right its just as good as the next motor. nothing wrong with lsvtec turbo

i have decited to not go with the ls vtec cause u gota machine it and shit for it to be built right. what im gunna do is port and polish my stock head go get some low compression pistons and rods, and run that with a turbo with high boost. what would u think bout that set up. ofcourse im tuning everything 2.

machining. you dont have to machine anything, all you gotta do is drill out and tap one hole and screw in a plug, then run a turbo line from block to head. GE i believe makes a kit fo this which should come with everything you need. it also comes with the dowel pins you need

nah cuase the head is hella unreliable and i dont wana run high compression with a turbo. so instead im gunna run low compression with a b18a1 and boost 12 psi or higher much more reliable then ls vtec turbo. ill be pushin hella more horses with a lot more tork. no enybody who wants to buy a gsr head only 30000 miles on it

who filled your head with the idea that the head is unreliable ? also just because you have a vtec head doesnt mean youll have high compression, what is your cr now ?

but if your still really set on selling the head, how much you want for it ?

Im tryin to run a lot of boost rather then vtec. low end boost is much better then high end boost cause with that gsr head red line would be bout 7.5 possibly a tiny bit higher. my compression rate would be 2 high for hard boost since i would have high comps pistons-rods. and i just heard hella bad shit with ls vtec and hella money spent and shit. but im selling the head with intake manifold and gsr chip for 600 if your interested.
