Re: 1990 240sx

i have a 90 240 for my first car its pretty good. all my friends who rice thier civics and teggis love my stock car for some reason... only thing i would warn you about is to watch for the fuel injectors thats one of the only thing i have had to replace in my engine.

Yea. I think that they are all pretty good from 90 up. I have had an 89, 92, and now a 95. So I would say they are awsome, but its true about the injectors. My friend had the same problem, but its not that big of a deal to fix them.

how do you know if your fuel injectors are bad? i have an 89 and i think i may need to replace them, it bogs out if i floor it and it doesnt idle right after stoping.

The 91 + model years with the DOHC 2.4 4cy are a much better choice...More powerful...

ya, a whole 15 HP.. wooooooo

ya, i've had problems with my injectors as well, but that was because of the rings on it, it wore out so it was leaking gas, other than that, if the car was taken care of, you should have no problems

mine's got 236000 KM's on it and it still runs fine

So you would rather have a less powerful, older engine?

The DOHC version also responds to mods better...

Re: 1990 240sx

the reason they went dohc in 1991 is cause its more reliable in the long run. just like he ^ said, it responds better to mods too. i really don't understand why you'd want a discontinued model over a thriving one
