Engine dies when lights turned on!

Help!

Whenever I turn on the dome light, or open a door, or turn on the running/headlights the engine dies! Turn off the lights and the engine restarts and runs fine!

What is wrong, help please!!!!

sounds like a alternater problom. dont know for sure best bet to take it in and get it looked at.

I would disconnect the positive from the battery to check your alternater if your car stays running when you disconnect your battery for a few minutes then your alternater is fine if your truck starts easily every time cold, hot, after a couple days etc. then your battery is fine. If those are both good then its obviously an electrical problem but could be something as simple as a short in your wiring
