Anybody going? I probably will. I live 2.5 hours from it, so I'll definetely go. Don't know if a week from Sunday or two weeks from Sunday.

Re: Detroit Auto Show

I don't particuarly fancy the idea of travelling all that distance to go to Detroit, especially since I got a new wallet only last week....

Re: Detroit Auto Show

ill be going since i live like 20 mins from detroit. As for getting robbed, not prolly just shot or stabbed for no reason. I always liked the motto they made for detroit, "where the weak are killed and eaten" lol thats the detroit slogan, you can get it on T shirts and junk like that.

Isn't the Detroit auto show only open to the car companies?

Will attend the LA Auto Show this week. Will also see the 'dead body' museum sometime soon too.

I used to take a vacation go down to catch a Red Wings game and the auto show, but with the NHL being shut down, I don't think the auto show is worth the trip by itself.

Re: Detroit Auto Show

I'm goin the 19th all day. I've been the last few years, but I live in St. Johns (North of Lansing) so it's a lot easier for me to go.

Re: Detroit Auto Show

I drank a fifth of vodka last year when i went to the Detroit auto show lol

That was fun... especially the Lexus with the vibrating, reclining back seats

Its like a 3 hour drive from Toronto

That's an excellent idea. I went to the show in Detriot 3 years ago. It's really no different from the show in Minneapolis or Indianapolis.
