I have a 99 aurora, and the passenger door is locked and will not open. I have tried to open the door with a slim jim, but the linkages will not open the door. It is alomost as if the solenoid is jammed and it is stuck in the locked position. Even the key will not work in the door. I cannot get the door panel off to look at the problem, since the bottom screws which hold it on are under the rocker panel when the door is shut. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I am in a tight spot as I am going on vacation this week and need to use the car.
Thank You, Da Jimmer |

Re: Passenger Door will not open
Happened twice on my 95 already (in 6 months). Try jiggling the handle while going back and forth with the door lock switch (worked the first time) or work the manual locking lever while working the L/U switch (worked the second time). Good luck.
