wiper relay?
1997 s 10 windsheild wipers work however no way to control delay and they stop where they want most times. Is there a relay to be replaced and where is it located. Thanks

Chances are it is the wiper circuit board.They are known for getting moisture in them and then they don't function right.Don't rule out your switch though.

Try this .
unplug wiper motor. Pull the cover off of wiper motor control.(3 small screws). Remove control circuit board. Use a hairdryer to make sure board is completly dry. Reinstall making sure to reseal cover with a good flexible sealer of some kind. OR, you can just replace with a new one. HELP make one for around $25. OEM part is about $60. 99% chance that this is your problem. |

It is a defective circuit board. Youcan take it out and resolder two or three spots they will look real chalky.
