Talking Smoked by a Lightning, Lightning smoked by curb...

Since I have to drive back to school tommorow, I decided to go out with some friends to starbucks and just chill. I had just put a full tank in Cassie, so I took the C320 instead. At starbucks, I saw a pretty nice Lightning SVT (most recent model), and when looking at it, the guy came out and started talking to me. It furthered my belief that 99% of owners of any SVT car/truck are assholes.

Basically, I said he had a ncie car, and asked him if he did anything to it or if it was stock. He said, and I quote 'only a pussy would keep this bad boy stock.' I simply ignored his cheap attempt to make his penis seem GINORMOUSLY LARGE (GRRRR!) and asked what he had done. He said exhaust, pully, chip, and tranny work. I dont know lightnings as well as other cars, so I took his word for it, and asked if he wanted to race. I told him ahead of time that he would kick my ass, and I just wanted to see the truck in action. He asked what I was in, and I pointed out the Benz. He laughed, and told me that my 'shitty ass Kraut Rocket' was a 'POS' and that I should have gotten a real car. At this point, I was tempted to randomly kick him in the nuts, but I let it go, and just asked again if he wanted to race. He said fine, and he followed me outa the parking lot.

We get out to where most people around here race, and catch a red light. At the light, hes revin it, and it sounds pretty mean. I just wait for the light to go green, and when it does, we both punch it. I'm not even going to describe how bad he walks me, becuase, well, its pretty bad. He lets off, and as I pull up next to him to give him the thumbs up, he flips me the bird. Wow, class right there folks. However, today, karma is on my side.

A car pulls out of a side street wide, swinging infront on him. He slams on the brakes, turns the wheel hard, and becomes good friends with the curb. He goes up, and over, the curb...then down into the four foot flood ditch. We stop and turn around to make sure hes ok, and when we get there, I look at the truck. Not pretty. As my friend gets back into my car, I look at the guy and say 'man, its gotta hurt to get kicked in the nuts. Peace' and then got in the Benz and drove off. Now that, my friends, is revenge.

Cliff Notes: If you need them so bad.....

Lightning driver acts like an ass
Lightning smokes me
Lightning dirver acts like an ass again
Curb/Flood ditch smoke Lightning
I act like ass

Re: Smoked by a Lightning, Lightning smoked by curb...

HAHAHAHA...ironic you say this cause my friend with an 04 SVT Lightning has been consulting me on what mods to do to his car next and what the reactions to expect etc. He's a really nice guy, a *little* cocky at times tho, but really takes in information well and doesnt act like an asshole to other ppl while driving or even when racing. When we beat a WRX he gave a thumbs up to the WRX driver and commented that it was a really nice car. I guess those ppl are rare these days. And oh my...I can imagine the smile you had on your face after driving off.

Definitely serves him right. I like Lightnings, but quite a few of the owners are morons. I'm sure he had a wonderul night after that. Hahaha.

So karma is real.. interesting.. lol yea that basically proves it.

many people in my city own svt's and 99% are all assholes.. they talk shit, they cut people off all the time, they are dickheads..and its so true cuz when u ask them what they did to it..well in my case atleast they say " uhh uhh exhaust, intake and uhhh a super chip.." most of them are slow.. i beat a kid who had a fake lightning and claim 380hp and made him look stupid several times. but i hate them all cuz they think they own the road cuz they dont stop and act like they would run u over.
i wish i was with u when u raced that guy i woulda got out and when i seen that he was alright i woulda pissed on him.

Re: Smoked by a Lightning, Lightning smoked by curb...

i used to work in a ford dealership in the body shop...and my guess from him jumpin the curb like that depending on how fast and how high the curb was, he probably is DEFINATELY goin to need a new front bumper...maybe new control arm or two (probably), new struts, prolly new side skirts, his underbody is most likely scratched to hell, maybe a new tie rod or two, and quite a bit of cleaning, maybe a couple other things...none of which are cheap...

now dont go flaming me if i'm wrong, cuz its been a year since i've worked there, but someone in a cavalier that goes to my school decided to hop a curb in his car at 45 mph and he needed that plus a little more...i dont remember everything tho...

Re: Smoked by a Lightning, Lightning smoked by curb...

Too Priceless. After your last comment, you should have said, "Now, I'm going to take me POS Kraut Rocket and go home and laugh at this moment." Then you should have gave him the and then should of gave him following the thumbs up. Karma...nature's candy for revenge? Err...did that make sense? Anyway, to deaths in the same race. Awesome. Late...

Re: Smoked by a Lightning, Lightning smoked by curb...

i don't get why people act like that. if you won then there's no reason to be a prick. i've never given shit to anyone i raced, win or lose. it's not necessary and then you look like a real asshole when something like that happens.
