how much gas mileage?

I am just curious to the gas mileage i'll be getting when i get this motor......... http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30018

I'll be putting it in a 88 DX automatic. I'm getting about 33-35 right now, and that's with a severely warped head that loses water into the cylinder. Anyway, just curious.

my d16a6 gets like 25mpg...sad really lol

but i just got a major tune up, so it should get more mpg! and on my next paycheck imma get tires and get my fuel injectors cleaned out

my d15 got 50mpg when i drove to SC from NY. but on average it was around 35 or so city and hwy.


my accord only gets 20-22mpg mostly city.

My stock Si civic gets about 28-34
My MPFI DX CRX (with tired motor) gets 30-37, Got 40 once

The MPFI SOHC ZC has higher comp (not much) domed pistons,
better flowing head w/ pent roof chambers and higher lift cam
Puts about 120-130hp, MPG will be a bit less.
My friend had one an said that he got 25-32mpg

It also depends on what tranny you mate to it...

I though that only the HF got over 40mph

Thanks for all the replies. Even if I get a 25mpg engine, it will be better than my ford truck, it only get 5 mpg, lol. Thanks again.

I'm all stock dude. Driven the good ol' D15B1 (70hp) beast with the standard 4-speed tranny. Best combo for gas, but not so good for performance which I want badly!
