Question Available options for LXI

Does anyone know where I can get a complete list of available options for the 1999 concorde LXI. Were heated mirrors, or heated seats available? Or massage seats? I finally found the antennae! well, I read it in the book. Well, concealed. Does the concorde offer automatic parking brake release? or AUTOMATIC power door locks, not just power door locks?

Re: Available options for LXI

Heated Mirrors yes, Heated Seats yes, Massage Seats no, Auto Parking Brake release unsure but think no, Auto Door Locks unsure but also think no.

LXI's were pretty much the premium Concorde, they usually were pretty well equipped from the factory and had options usually like Leather, Infinity Sound, CD Player, CD Changer, Moonroof, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, Heated Outside Mirrors, Climate Control, Heated Seats (With memory I think), I think Sirius Satellite Radio was even an option by then but not sure on that.

Auto door locks -- All 2nd generation LH body cars have the feature, you just need to turn it on. Do you have the overhead trip computer mounted on the headliner? How are the buttons labeled? Are labeled on the buttons themselves, or are the labels just behind the buttons.

Buttons with labels on them means it is an OTIS (overhead travel information system)

Buttons with labels behind them means it is an EVIC (Electronic Vehicle Information Center)

The two consoles have major differences in them, If you have the EVIC, there is many features that can be turned on with it. With the OTIS, theres not much you can do.

As for auto locks, there is a way to enable it without the EVIC, but i'll have to lookup the method for you, i can't remember it right now. If you want to upgrade to an EVIC, and have the OTIS already, it's completly plug and play(EVIC plugs directly into the OTIS' wire harness) you'll just need to get one.

Heated mirrors -- You might already have these, they turn on with the rear defroster.

Auto parking brake release -- You'll have to elaborate, i'm not sure what it is

Heated seats -- Yes, it was an option, you will have to replace the seats to get it.

User memory -- Radio presets, mirror positions, and seat positions where all savable with the memory functions. Not exactly easy to install if you don't have it already. You would see the switch on the drivers seat, labeled: 1 (S) 2

Sirius radio was an option in the later models i believe -- 02-04 maybe

Try to buy the 1999 Chrysler Concorde brochure on Ebay. I bought the 98 brochure. In it you can find the standard and optional equipment for the LX and LXi. I don't have a scanner, so I can't send you a copy of the list.

Best regards, Marco
