How to get more power?

How can i get more power out of my 94, v-6 cougar? I would like at least 200 hp. Could this engine survive 100 hp shoots of nos(wet kit of course)? or could it maybe handle a supercharger(not making it into a supercoupe) without having to replace alot of stuff in the engine? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks, Jess.

Sure, give it a shot. It might last a bottle or two.

Re: How to get more power?

Put a charger on it. You'll like it a lot more and you won't have to keep refilling.

Thanks for the help. I just wanted to make sure the 3.8 could handle the power of a supercharger.

Re: How to get more power?

Since your car is a 94 I would imagine it has quite a few miles on it. You'd be better off rebuilding the engine first before trying to boost the power from it. Why not try to find a SC engine in the junkyard to rebuild so that you can continue to drive the car until you have the engine ready to drop in.
