Angry Blower Motor Fan noiisy

Hi Folks,

I have a 99 Intrigue 3.8, and few weeks ago the blower fan started making a really LOUD squeeking noise when I start my heater. I think it might be rubbing against something in the vent shaft cuz barely any air passes thru the vents.

Have you any idea on how to fix this problem, in detail? Has anyone had this problem or heard about this or resolved it?

Thanks in advance,

Moti

Re: Blower Motor Fan noiisy

Remove the RH lower IP cover, under the glove box, and you will see the fan motor.

Water has probably leaked from AC condenser condensation. I resently replaced mine, but may have been able to fix it by taking it apart and cleaning an oiling to moter shaft contact points. (It's an easy R&R)
