Re: 2004 Sales
Thats not suprising, minivans have really lost their popularity to suvs, crossovers, and wagons.

Re: 2004 Sales
That means I'll find a loaded 2004 Windstar dirt cheap.

Re: 2004 Sales
Didn't the Freestar repalce the Windstar? Were these 2,954 left over from 2003?

Re: 2004 Sales
I think I have to agree with Torino in that the numbers don't look too bad in my opinion since there is a trend towards SUVs now and minivans are becoming rarer.
I am trying to figure out why I don't see too many Freestars on the road. |

Re: Re: 2004 Sales
Somebody forgot to tell Toyota that minivans were out of style, they had a 50% increase in Sienna sales over 2003 to 159,119. The Honda Odyssey was about dead even with 2003 sales, from 154,063 to 154,238 but a redesigned 2005 model will probably lead to an increase this year. Chrysler/Dodge minivans saw increases as well, around 30% from 2003. Nissan sold 46,430 units in 2004 with their new Quest entry.
Kia had a 20% increase in Sedona sales from 2003. So it looks like the only decreases in sales from 2003 came from GM and Ford even with the redesigned Freestar/Monterey.
