Post 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 won't start

It seem like lack of fuel. It fires when using starting fluid but will not run.
Need help. Can't even find a fuel filter or fuel pump.

Sounds Like Your Fuel Pump Is Bad. The Pump And Flit. Is Located In Your Fuel Tank. Replacement Pump Includes Filter And Fuel Lever Sender. It Comes Complete. To Change Pump You Can Remove Bed Of Truck, Or Drop Fuel Tank.

I agree. It sounds like your fuel pump. But it doesn't sound like like fun changing it,does it? This is one that I've had to,begrudgingly, take to the dealship service depart. And I hate taking anything there.

If you can get 3 guys to help you lift the box off, it's alot easier that way.

Maybe there's no fuel in the tank...

I remember one guy figured his fuel pump was gone, so he was going to change it. Turns out the fuel gauge broke at some point and he ran it out of gas and didn't even know it.
