WTB Geo Metro convertible

Would like to buy 1990-1994 Geo Metro convertible. Rust free, relatively low mileage, good condition, no rust, five speed with cold operable AC.

Good luck find one rust-free. Unless you get one from the west coast. These things rust like hell with that cheap Jap steel.

Well, you being in Tennessee, you shouldn't have much trouble finding a good metro convertible. Just keep your eyes peeled on Ebay and autotrader.com.

I purchased my 93 metro convert. in Conneticut last Feburary. 92000 miles no rust and well taken care of. Cold Ac. I found it on Ebay.
I have come across many nice metro convertibles will looking. Mostly in Florida. Living in PA, Florida was too far too drive to pick up. I think I just got lucky. Paid 2,500.00 and it was well worth it.

That cheap jap steel has been around for a long time and you will be seeing more of it.As for as Geos rusting out or as for anything rusting out,it's all on the upkeep.Like here in PA,every winter salt gets threw down for our cars to pick it up.If you don't hose that shit off,what do you expect to happen?
