are there any models of an '83-'92 Ranger, Bronco II, or Bronco?

Just wondering if anyone has heard of or seen any 1/24 or 1/25 plastic models of an '83-'92 Ranger, Bronco II, or Bronco? Also, where can I find tires (off road) for these?
Thanks

Aoshima makes off-road tires. check http://www.modelexpress.net/cgi-bin/...AOS_84816.html to see them. as far as the models go im not sure. i mean at some point i know they were made but i doubt there are any still in production. i know Revell made a Ranger but it was a low-rider. search ebay first then try some on-line hobby shops for old stock.

well another source for tires if the Aoshimas are to big is the Burago Schlesser kit. it has very nice wheels and ive seen it at Wal-mart. I can get a Jeep Honcho model from the 80's at my hobby shop if that would help?

Im pretty sure they don't make that version, you could always use that 93 as a starting point to make the 85 yourself.

Re: are there any models of an '83-'92 Ranger, Bronco II, or Bronco?

Yeah. Sorry, Crazy, but nobody ever did an '83-'92 Ranger or Bronco II; Revell's kit is an S-10, and as it's been pointed out a number of times, AMT didn't start 'till '93.

On the other hand, those first compact Rangers were pretty boxy, so they might not be too tough to approximate. I'd consider possibly sectioning either a Monogram or an MPC F-series from the early '80's to a smaller size, since the smaller truck copped many of the larger one's design cues...

the bed of the truck is pretty easy, as almost all trucks from mid 80's (s10, dodge light duty, etc.) look very similar from the back, just the friend end I would need to modify

There are no 1:24 or 1:25 scale 83-92 Rangers out there, but, you could make one if you wanted, the only issue is that it would be 1/20 scale, Lindberg made a 93 Explorer Sport, which has the front clip thats needed, for the bed you need to highly modify Lindbergs 1/20 scale S10, both kits can usually be found for about 10 bucks,

Brilliant!

Forgot all about these (and I just packed mine up for a move the other day!).

If you can deal with the funky scale, Crazymod, this could be your shortest route...

Re: are there any models of an '83-'92 Ranger, Bronco II, or Bronco?

Yup. That's a recent rebox of the old Monogram kit, and if you really squint at the side, you might begin to see a Ranger hiding in there somewhere...
