Cruise Control

Can I install cruise control on my 1996 Pontiac Grand AM? If so what do I get to install it and how do I install it?

hey , ya you can install cruise. i know where i live you can go to auto part stores and they have kits

What tools and Stuff do I need? I tried to find a kit but i didnt find one anywhere. Is there any sort of name for it? Maybe you could just tell me what is in it and stuff? Please post ASAP. Thanks.

Go search Ebay Motors. I've seen tons of kits on there. It would consist of a module and a control unit. You would wire the control unit up in the cabin, and install the module wherever it goes next to your acessory belt - you would get all the instructions and stuff with it

I'm also trying to put cruise on a 96 Grand Am.
Can anyone tell me where the wiring harness for the cruise module/stepper motor on the firewall comes from? Driver's side or passenger's side?

should be driver side, look for two wire harness, dark green and lightblue/black wires.
