Question engine swap options?

I have a 2002 GA SE 2dr w/ the factory 2.2L ecotec AT. I race my best friend in his Honda Factory Performance built civic ex MT, and win on regular basis in acceleration. while this engine is a fine piece of machinery in my opinion my top speed is considerable lower than his. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a v-6 roughly 200hp engine with trans that would work on my car. Kinda new to this. and also wondering if there is any way o drop in a Manual trans 5-speed as well and convert this car to Manual.

I recomend that anyone near Nashville, TN visit NextGear Garage in the Bellevue mall if you have an import or domestic tuner.

Re: engine swap options?

Checkout the link I provided, that ecotech can easily reach 250+HP, you can get 275 out of it reliably. And if your crazy and have US$12k burning a hole in your pocket, GM has a 750 HP version available also. That might help your top speed...RKSport 775hp Ecotech
