CEL coming on randomly
ok i have a 93 del sol s, it has 162000 KILOMETERS not miles...i think thats around 90,000 miles, anyways since i installed my AEM Cai my C.E.L comes on randomly after a few restarts it goes away it went away for about a month but is now back it comes on after driving for a few mins then sometimes my speedometer jus stays at zero.....its really annoying i bought the car 2nd hand, so im not really sure what it could be when i bought the car i installed new plugs new wires new cap but didnt do the rotor dunno why, i thenput the aem cai then i added a custom cat back exhaust system, only thing i can think of is maybe my timing belt needs changing i dunno some help or ideas plzzzzzzzzzzz
oh when hooking up my cai it came with 2 new hoses i only replaced the hose that goes from the cai to the throttle body i didnt messs with the hose that has coolant in it i just reattached it to the throttle body i didnt change it

ok i will check the code i think i have fixed the issue i think the clamps were just loose from the CAI to my Throttle body i tightened them up and speedo is working and the cel hasnt come on again....i wonder tho should i use that hose that cmae with my CAI? the coolant one not sure of the name...

Correct me if im wrong, but the only hose it should have is the pcv breather hose. And if its an AEM it should use the stock hose. If you dont know, the pcv hose runs from the intake tube into the valve cover. What other hose are you talking about?

ya that one is hooked up but there was like another hose inside the aem kit i dunno what its for thats why i left it one was a fat tube (pcv breather hose) and one was a slim tube.....it seems to be workign fine now.......
