Blew it up today.........

1. Lowered + 16 inches of packed snow last week = Bye OIL PAN.

2. No oil + 8000 RPM = Hello RODKNOCK.

Well, it happened today. Knock like a motherfucker. That bitch wont even idle now without shutting off. At first it sounded like a simple valve tick, and then the engine kept jerking, as I made to an off ramp, that shit started knocking bad as hell. I got some thick oil additive, and a couple quarts. Made 50 miles home, so it completely sounds like ass. You can hear that metal on metal real good.

Well, now I'll be driving my Fox Mustang, and in a good 2-3 weeks, I'll have a B16A in the coupe.

Well, atleast I got my EG6 cluster in!

well, by then the engine was alredy fuck anyway, he is getting a swap, and has a daily driver car, This is not a common story.

I think the title of this thread sums the conversation so far. I am wondering diegoaccord, how can snow take off an oil pan? Did you hit a curb? I always thought the plastic bumper would get ripped apart first before a metal oil pan.

it didn't get ripped, it got hit by solid ice snow, and had a gash in it.
