Unhappy Cursed Junkyard Parts?

When I owned my 1990 geo storm, it didn't have a manual with it, so I went to the junkyard and found a manual, but it had blood stains on it. Obvisouly something happened to the driver or passenger, but I bought it any ways. When I got home, I showed it to my parents and they said, "Becareful with that. Since it has blood on it, it may be cursed." So I ignore them cause I'm not really superstitious, but a year later, I went to start it up and the car wouldn't start. And this was when I got my license too. We tried everything, including a new fuel pump which took forever and nothing worked. Sold it then for $300 for a parts car and then a few days later, the guys who bought it said it was dead fuel injectors and had it running good and strong. But then I had already found the civic.

Now I know this may sound a little funny, but I do believe in it now. So when ever I buy a part from the junkyard, I'm always looking to see if someone had died in the car, if there's blood on it or what not. It's weird but then again, something bad might happen if you take a part of a car that someone died in.

Re: Cursed Junkyard Parts?

yah my brother really beleves that, he said sometimes odd things used to happen when using them. If someone was really "haunting" that car i dont think they want people takin there shit! i tend to stay away from the severly damaged/burned car's

I don't beleive in that. Bad things happen, so what. Cars break down all the time. so what. No connection.

Re: Cursed Junkyard Parts?

there used to be a centry at the junk yard that had to be owned by some heroin addict or something, there were pictures of people burning alive taped to the dash and stuff with "are you ready to die for your cause" painted on it and there were bright colors painted down one side with a brush and all sorts of disturbing stuff wrote on it. There was a baby doll wired to the front bumper with wires wraped around its neck that were attached to bolts going though the hood. It was really disturbing.

Re: Cursed Junkyard Parts?

your not allowed to salvage parts off a car that someone has been killed in over here, it HAS to be crushed regardless from what i hear.

This is why I hauled my ass out of Texas as fast as I possibly could... LMFAO!

As for your Geo Storm, sorry, but you probably just needed new injectors... My wife is like that about junkyard parts, but around here they rip your ass off anyway so I don't even bother....

Re: Cursed Junkyard Parts?

heh, don't buy parts from my car if it ever makes its way into the junkyard. a lot of blood and sweat has gone into fixing all kinds of stuff. i cut my hand moderately every time i work on the engine.
